No One’s Recipe: Deep Fried Twinkies

   Posted by: Jesse   in Recipe

This fair-time abomination was crafted in the hellfryer of Mordor. A Twinkie deep fried with batter. It’s so good and so foul that it will either make you believe in god, or believe there is no god.

Deep Fried Twinkies

Ingredients for batter
1 cup of flour
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of oil
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 tablespoons of vinegar
1/2 teaspoon of salt

4 Twinkies (frozen)

Oil for frying

Directions
Set the Twinkies aside in the freezer overnight.

Heat the oil to 375 degrees F. Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder.  Whisk together the oil, vinegar and milk. Beat the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients until smooth.

Coat each frozen Twinkie in batter. Let the excess batter drip off and put it into the deep fryer. Allow the Twinkie to cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Serve warm.
